PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having excellent operability, a display method, and a program.SOLUTION: A display device according to the present invention comprises a range detection unit, an operation detection unit, and a control unit. The range detection unit, according to a difference between projected image data showing image data of an object to be projected, a projected image showing an image formed by projecting the projected image data on a projection plane, and captured image data obtained by imaging an area around a projection area showing an area where the projected image is displayed out of the projection plane, detects a specific range showing a range where a specific operation is detected out of the captured image data. The operation detection unit detects an operation of a user on the basis of the captured image data. The control unit, in the case where the operation of the user detected by the operation detection unit is an operation in the specific range and an operation that matches the specific operation, performs control of executing specific processing corresponding to the specific operation. |
