Provided is a voltage controlled device drive circuit wherein the turn-on performance of the drive circuit can be adjusted in accordance with the specification or the like of at least one of the voltage controlled device and the drive circuit. A voltage controlled device drive circuit comprises: a constant current circuit (30) that supplies a constant current to the gate of a voltage controlled device (10), thereby causing the voltage controlled device to perform an on-operation; a discharge circuit (40) that flows a discharge current between the gate of the voltage controlled device and the emitter thereof, thereby causing the voltage controlled device to perform an off-operation; a switch circuit (50) that activates, in response to a drive signal, one of the constant current circuit and the discharge circuit, thereby turning on or off the voltage controlled device; a current order value generation circuit (60) that generates and outputs a current order value to establish at least an output current of the constant current circuit; and a current control circuit (70) that controls the output current of the constant current circuit on the basis of the current order value generated by the current order value generation circuit. |
