According to an embodiment of the present invention, a converter comprises: first and second converters as sub converters; and a balance unit connected between an output terminal of the first converter and an output terminal of the second converter to maintain a balance between output voltages of the first and second converters. Therefore, the present invention can charge a grid with a high voltage.
