PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement prevention device of a fluid pipe which can prevent the damage of the fluid pipe by making a claw of a retention member equally bite in, and a movement prevention method.SOLUTION: A movement prevention device of a fluid pipe comprises: a retention member 6 having an inclined face 63 whose outside diameter is changed along an axial core direction, a front claw 8A which is formed at a front side at which the outside diameter of the inclined face 63 becomes large, and a rear claw 8B which is formed at a rear side at which the outside diameter of the inclined face 63 becomes small; and an annular housing 7 which accommodates the retention member 6 into an accommodation groove 9 which is opened toward an external peripheral face 2a of a water pipe P. A push-pressing face 13 which push-presses the inclined face 63 to the inside of a radial direction is formed at a tip of a pressing bolt 10 which is attached to the accommodation groove 9, the push-pressing face 13 is inclined to the inclined face 63, a remote part 13a which is remote from the inclined face 63 is formed at a front side of the push-pressing face 13, and an abutment part 13b which abuts on the inclined face 63 is formed at a rear side of the push-pressing face 13. |
