PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate which is good adhesion between a PPS film and a fiber sheet, is suppressed in insulation defects and is desirable as an electrical insulation material and its production method.SOLUTION: In a laminate, a fiber sheet (C layer) composed of an aromatic polymer having no melting point is provided on at least one side of a layer (A layer) composed of a poly-p-phenylene sulfide through a layer (B layer) composed of a copolymerized polyphenylene sulfide. The peel strength between the B layer and the C layer is 1 N/cm or higher, and the number of insulation defects under DC6kV applied as the voltage-resistant strength is 1.0 defect/1,000 mor smaller. A production method of the laminate is also provided.
