PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to ensure a holding function even for a dynamic load such as an earthquake and carrying out installation and assembly construction work easily and highly accurately.SOLUTION: A reactor molten material holding device 20 receiving and holding a core molten material M below a reactor pressure vessel containing a reactor core at a time of a core meltdown accident, is configured so that a plurality of floor-side holding structures 24 each including flow passages 25A and 26A capable of circulating coolant 16 inside is aligned to communicate the flow passages 25A and 26A, the floor-side holding structures 24 aligned are disposed adjacently to assemble top surfaces 27T of the respective floor-side holding structures 24 together, thereby forming a holding surface 23 holding the core molten material M, the floor-side holding structures 24 are fitted into a floor-side grooved rail 33 provided on a floor surface 15 below the reactor pressure vessel, and this floor-side grooved rail 33 is laid on the floor surface 15 via an angle/height adjustment mechanism 35 capable of adjusting a tilt angle with respect to the floor surface 15. |
