Provided are: a novel imidazole compound which has a high degree of stability as a compound; and a novel imidazole compound which is effective as a membrane-constituting fat of a liposome. Disclosed is a compound represented by general formula (1), and a liposome containing said compound. In the formula, Z is a substitutable imidazolyl group, L1 is a substitutable C1-4 alkylene group, X is an oxygen atom or a nitrogen-containing substituent, n is an integer from 2 to 4, m is an integer from 1 to 20, L2 is a C1-6 bivalent linking group, Y is a nitrogen-containing group, R1 and R2 are hydrogen groups or or C1-6 alkyl groups, R3 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and R4 and R5 are C1-40 alkyl groups. |
