PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor for generating an image in which a color difference between an abnormal part such as an atrophic part where the gastric mucosa is atrophied, and a normal part is emphasized, and operation method thereof, and endoscope system.SOLUTION: The medical image processor inputs a first RGB image signal, acquires color difference signals Cr and Cb from the first RGB image signal, performs, in a feature space formed of the color difference signals Cr and Cb, first processing to transfer coordinates of a second range to a reference range including an original point, with coordinates of first and third ranges retained there, and performs second processing to transfer the coordinates of the first range and the coordinates of the third range so as to separate the coordinates of the first range and the coordinates of the third range from each other. |
