PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupler with which a supply source of a refrigerant and a heating and cooling device can be easily connected and separated by a comfortable operation in a minimized engine room or the like of an automobile.SOLUTION: The coupler comprises: a connection part for connecting a hose of a filling collection source of the refrigerant to a coupling part having a coupling part side valve body of the heating and cooling device, and connectable with the coupling part of the heating and cooling device; a spindle allowing the coupling part side valve body of the heating and cooling device to be pressed; and a spindle operation part for causing back and forth movement of the spindle. The coupler is characterized in that a regulation protrusion is provided on one of a rear outer side surface of the connection part and the main spindle operation part, and protrusion guide means for guiding the regulation protrusion along a helical track with respect to the central axis of the connection part is formed on the other of the rear outer side surface of the connection part and the main spindle operation part, and in that the regulation protrusion is movable in the protrusion guide means within a range of about 90° in rear view as the center axis of the connection part, and the spindle operation part is movable within the range of about 90° with respect to the connection part. |
