PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hasten starting of a first print when plate-making stencil original paper of each printing plate cylinder by one plate-making unit which moves between a plurality of printing plate cylinders and then mounting the printing plate on each printing plate cylinder.SOLUTION: Plate discharging at a printing plate cylinder 11 side and plate discharging at a printing plate cylinder 13 side with respect to used stencil original paper 29 are performed concurrently, and the plate discharging of the used stencil original paper 29 of the printing plate cylinder 13 is made so as to have been already completed at the timing when new plate-mounting of the stencil original paper 29 on the printing plate cylinder 11 after the plate discharging is completed. Consequently, immediately after new stencil original paper 29 at the printing plate cylinder 13 side is plate-made by a plate-making unit 19, plate-mounting on the printing plate cylinder 13 is started, so that starting of plate-mounting of the new stencil original paper 29 at the printing plate cylinder 13 side is hastened. This allows first print (FP print) at the printing plate cylinder 13 side on which the stencil original paper 29 is finally mounted to be hastened without changing a procedure by which a common plate-making unit 19 performs plate-making of stencil original papers 29 for the printing plate cylinders 11 and 13 and the plate-making unit 19 moves between the printing plate cylinders 11 and 13 so as to mount the corresponding stencil original papers 29 on the printing plate cylinders 11 and 13. |
