PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a packaging material for paper container, having excellent sealing characteristics when making a box and excellent hermeticity.SOLUTION: A method for producing a packaging material for paper container comprises laminating at least an external thermoplastic resin layer, a paper substrate layer, and an internal thermoplastic resin layer in this order. The internal thermoplastic resin layer has a multilayer structure of three layers or more comprising, in order from the closest layer to the paper substrate layer, a bonding layer, a middle layer of one or more layers, and a liquid contact layer. The bonding layer comprises low-density polyethylene, the liquid contact layer comprises linear low-density polyethylene, and the middle layer comprises polyethylene having the same or more density as the linear low-density polyethylene forming the liquid contact layer. A thickness of the bonding layer is less than half of a thickness of the internal thermoplastic resin layer. The internal thermoplastic resin layer is laminated by a co-extrusion coating method. |
