PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine and a clothes dryer capable of changing appearance design according to a taste of a user about a door body of an outer case.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: an outer case: a tub body disposed in the outer case and capable of accommodating clothes inside; an opening in which the inside of a tub body is visible and a door body which blocks the opening, provided at the outer case; and a detachable cover which can be detached and which covers the door body.
