A broken conductor detection method and apparatus. The apparatus includes: a measurement module(502), used to measure, at a node(120-1,120-2,120-3) of a distribution system(10), a voltage value of each distribution feeder(110-1,110-2,110-3) of the distribution system(10); a check module(504), used to check whether the measured voltage value of each distribution feeder T(110-1,110-2,110-3) of the distribution system(10) is less than a voltage threshold used for the distribution feeder T(110-1,110-2,110-3), the voltage threshold used for the distribution feeder T(110-1,110-2,110-3) being calculated based on a mean value of measured voltage values of other distribution feeders(110-1,110-2,110-3) in the distribution system(10); a generating module(506), used to: if a checking result indicates that a measured voltage value of a distribution feeder(110-1,110-2,110-3) of the distribution system(10) is less than the voltage threshold used for said distribution feeder(110-1,110-2,110-3), generate a signal indicating that said distribution feeder(110-1,110-2,110-3) of the distribution system(10) has a broken conductor; and a sending module(508), used to send the generated signal. The method and apparatus can improve the broken conductor detection for a distribution feeder(110-1,110-2,110-3) in a distribution system(10). |
