Provided is a system that is for inspecting portable terminal use, does not require a special dedicated sensor, has superior portability of the apparatus used in the inspection, and can be built at a low cost. The system has: at least one general-purpose portable information terminal (2) having a screen display device (21) that outputs an image and embeds a first microphone (3) or including a connection section (44, 46) for a second microphone (3A); and a server (6) connected to the at least one portable information terminal (2) by means of a communication network. The portable information terminal (2) transmits, to the server, acoustical data resulting from sounds arising from an inspection subject (1) being recorded by the first or second microphone (3, 3A). The server (6) determines the presence/absence of an abnormality by analyzing the received acoustical data. |
