Provided is a wired/wireless router for improving energy efficiency. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for converting a mode of a router, comprises the following steps: when a conversion to a standby mode is determined, switching the mode so that a network configuration can be connected with an auxiliary processor; blocking power of a wireless communications device operated in an on-mode; and activating the wireless communications device operated in the standby mode. Accordingly, the standby mode can be operated in the wired/wireless router, and the power consumed in the wired/wireless router can be significantly reduced. |
