<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side door structure for a vehicle capable of reducing projecting amount of a door inner panel to the vehicle width direction inside on a vehicle longitudinal direction rear side upon a side collision. <P>SOLUTION: When a front side door 14 is viewed from the vehicle width direction outside, a door outside handle base 62 is disposed on a lower side in a vehicle vertical direction of a belt line outer reinforcement 30. When the front side door 14 is viewed from the vehicle width direction outside, the door outside handle base 62 is disposed to be overlapped with a door lock device 50 from a rear end portion 62R on the vehicle width direction rear side to a center portion 62M in the vehicle width direction. Accordingly, when the door outside handle base 62 is displaced to the vehicle width direction inside by the side collision as shown by a two-dot chain line, the center portion 62M in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the door outside handle base 62 is brought into contact with the door lock device 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
