METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SEARCHING BY USING NATURAL LANGUAGE QUERY

The present invention relates to a method for searching for and providing information on a natural language query having a structure of a simple or a complex sentence, which comprises: a mashup search language generating step of generating a mashup search language having a tree structure composed of multiple levels based on one or more query entities included in the natural language query through analyzing a meaning of the natural language query; an attribute analyzing step of determining whether each level of the mashup search language is linked to each other based on attribute information on the mashup search language through the query entities constituting the mashup search language at each level; a search step of searching data corresponding to the query entities for each level of the mashup search language in a knowledge database based on a result of the determination and deriving key information corresponding to the natural language query and one or more of entity information from the data derived from the search result; and an information providing step of laying out a screen for search results, which includes the key information and one or more entity information.
