<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molded article that is good in moldability when using a nonwoven fabric as a base material and that is capable of satisfactorily providing molded articles even in the case of a deep drawn molded article. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a nonwoven fabric that is a needle punched staple fiber nonwoven fabric comprising a binder staple fiber and a fiber other than a binder staple fiber. The binder staple fiber is in the form of a single phase type comprising a crystalline polyester. The crystalline polyester is a polyester having a crystal melting point of 100 to 200°C and comprises terephthalic acid as a main component as a dicarboxylic acid component and at least one of 1,6-hexanediol, butanediol, and ethylene glycol as a diol component. And in a heat molding process, the nonwoven fabric is heated by applying heat to melt the crystalline polyester and is molded using a predetermined molding frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
