<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sizing agent-applied carbon fiber that has superior adhesiveness between a carbon fiber and a matrix resin and superior high-order processability, and also does not cause unevenness in an adhesion area. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the sizing agent-applied carbon fiber comprises: applying a sizing agent prepared by blending 100 pts.mass of an epoxy compound having two or more epoxy groups or two types or more functional groups, as a component (A) and 0.1-25 pts.mass of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a tertiary amine compound, a tertiary amine salt, a quaternary ammonium salt, a quaternary phosphonium salt and a phosphine compound, as a component (B), to a carbon fiber; and heat-treating the carbon fiber by microwave irradiation and/or infrared ray irradiation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
