[Problem] To provide a syringe pump wherein the flange of the main body of the syringe can be fitted and securely mounted, and which can ascertain whether the main body flange has arrived at a prescribed position. [Solution] The invention comprises a syringe-loading part (6) where the main body (201) of the syringe (200) is to be set, and a syringe plunger-driving part (7) for pressing the syringe plunger (202) of the syringe (200). The syringe-loading part (6) comprises: a concave receptacle (8) that accommodates the main syringe body (201); a main body flange-gripping part (500) that grips the main body flange (209) as a result of the main body flange (209) of the main syringe body (201) being detachably fitted therein when the main syringe body (201) is accommodated in the receptacle (8); and a main body flange-detecting part (600) that detects whether the main body flange (209) has been mounted at a previously determined position (LL) of the main body flange-gripping part (500). |
