<p>The invention relates to a filter device for separating particles, particularly particles of a coating material, from a crude gas flow which contains particles, and comprising a housing and at least one filter element. Said housing delimits an inner chamber of the filter device, the at least one filter element is arranged in the interior of the filter device, and the crude gas flow can be fed through an inlet section of the filter device, in an in-flow direction, into the interior of said filter device. Such a filter device has, in particular, an interior through which flow can pass in an efficient manner and is therefore particularly reliable and safe to operate if said filter device comprises a screening device that has at least one screening element by means of which some sections of the inlet section of the filter device can be covered.</p> |
