The present invention relates to a drum heater and a manufacturing method thereof. The drum heater comprises: an internal pipe wherein an accommodation space is formed therein, and a lower portion thereof is closed; an external pipe which encloses the outside of the internal pipe and is separated from the internal pipe, and wherein a lower portion thereof is closed; a heating body which is arranged in the accommodation space of the internal pipe and radiates heat; a temperature sensor which is arranged in the accommodation space of the internal pipe and measures a temperature; magnesia inserted into a space between the accommodation space of the internal pipe and the internal pipe and the external pipe; a fixing unit which fixes upper portions of the internal pipe and the external pipe, supplies power to the heating body, and has a temperature controller to control a temperature; and two or more bimetals mounted on a connection line connecting the heating body and the temperature controller composing a fixing part. According to the present invention, an explosion by the heat of the heating body is prevented by the temperature sensor arranged in the accommodation space of the internal pipe and the bimetals. When an internal explosion occurs, an impact can be absorbed by the triple structure consisting of the magnesia, the internal pipe, and the external pipe to prevent exposure to the outside. Also, the drum heater can be stably used for a long period of time. |
