PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive disk base which is superior in optical performance, by a method wherein after the inside of a cavity is filled with molten high-molecular substance, the high-molecular substance is melted again in a surface layer part coming into contact with a cavity surface by applying high-frequency heating to the cavity surface to remove residual stress and molecular orientation. CONSTITUTION:A mold temperature is controlled by passing cooling water through a cooling water passage 13 by combining molds 1, 2 unitarily. Then the inside of a cavity 10 is filled with high-molecular substance from an injection machine through a sprue 11 and gate 12. Then after remelting of a predetermined part has been completed by remelting the high-molecular substance filled out the inside of the cavity 10 along with suspension of supply of the cooling water to the cooling water passage 13 by applying induction heating to heating members 3, 4 and a stamper 7 by applying high-frequency electric power source to induction coils 5, 6, conduction of the induction coils 5, 6 is broken and the molds 1, 2 are cooled by passing the cooling water through the cooling water passage 13. A product is unloaded by dividing the molds 1, 2 after the high-molecular substance has been cured finally. |
