The invention relates to a passenger conveyor which allows an instruction user to understand the danger of flyer lifting. The passenger conveyor comprises a plurality of flyers, a driving portion, a sensor and a control portion, wherein the plurality of flyers are connected annually, the driving portion drives the flyers at a rated speed or lower speed, the sensor detects the moving speed of passengers on the flyers, the control portion controls the flyers to move at a speed lower than the rated speed when the sensor detects that speed exceeds a set threshold continuously for a preset period of time. |
