<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control parameter setup method for a vehicle collision testing-device, the method allowing suppression of extraneous cost. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a method of setting up a control parameter for a drive source control in a control part 5 so as to suppress a speed shift comparable to a speed related to a control condition of a test vehicle X, the setup carried out in advance of a collision test using a vehicle collision testing-device that includes: a drive course 1 for driving the test vehicle X; a drive source 3 for generating drive power; a traction unit 4, when connected to the test vehicle X, for towing it with the drive power transmitted from the drive source 3; a collision target article 2 with which the test vehicle X released from the traction unit 4 is collided; and a control unit 5 for controlling so as to cause the test vehicle X towed by the traction unit to travel at a set condition to reach a set speed by controlling the drive source 3. Further, the method includes: applying, to the drive source 3, a dummy load equivalent to a load exerted to the drive source 3 by the test vehicle X towed by the traction unit 4; and setting the control parameter in accordance with a behavior of the drive source 3 under the dummy load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
