<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing that prevents reduction in allowable load, wear, or burning to be caused by partial contact between a bearing and a thrust collar even when vibration occurs in a conical mode. <P>SOLUTION: The thrust beating 1 includes a thrust collar 3 integrally moving with a rotary shaft 2 in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 2, and bearings 4 and 5 arranged to face each other in the axial direction of the rotary shaft with respect to the thrust collar, and applies a thrust load applied to the rotary shaft on the bearings via the thrust collar. Surfaces 3b and 3c of the thrust collar facing the bearings are spherical surfaces where the center of gravity of the entire rotary system integrally rotating with the rotary shaft is a curvature center. Surfaces 4b and 5b of the bearings facing the thrust collar are spherical surfaces where curvatures are equal to that of the thrust collar facing the surfaces of the bearings. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
