The present invention discloses a circuit breaker. The circuit breaker, in the two sub-structures formed to be a lower housing and a lid portion, and in the main body housing where the internal space of the circuit breaker is divided into a plurality of poles through interpolar walls, is equipped with a current interruption portion constituted by a fixed contact member, a movable contact member maintained in a contact member supporting frame and an arc-control device; an opening and closing mechanism unit constituted by the components of an operating handle, a toggle mechanism and a trip mechanism the; and an overcurrent detection device. In the circuit breaker, the opening and closing mechanism unit is carried above the center pole of the lower housing via the bearing member of the supporting frame, while a connecting rod is coupled between the supporting frame and the contact member, here, a bottom wall and an upright wall are formed integrally with the bearing member on the bearing member of the supporting member, thereby isolating the opening and closing mechanism unit mounted thereon and the current interruption portion and the arc-control device which arranged between the lower housing. |
