A tire having a circumferential groove portion (10A, 10B, 10C) and a lateral groove portion (41A, 41B, 60) formed in a tread thereof, the circumferential groove portion (10A, 10B, 10C) formed continuously in a tire circumferential direction, the lateral groove portion (41A, 41B, 60) extending in a tread width direction (tw), wherein a ratio of an area of the lateral groove portion to a contact patch area of the tire is larger than a ratio of an area of the circumferential groove portion to the contact patch area, and wherein a width SW of the tire and an outer diameter OD of the tire satisfy SW ‰¤ 175 mm and OD/SW ‰¥ 3.6, and the tire outer diameter OD and a the tire inner diameter RD satisfy and OD/RD ‰¤ 1.4, where the tire inner diameter RD is a diameter of a portion of the tire in contact with a wheel in a state where the tire is fitted to the wheel. |
