PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which can transmit a plurality of transmission objects by using a general purpose connector, and to provide a display device.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes a connector compliant with versatile standard having a plurality of display output lanes, first transmission means for transmitting a display signal to a display connected with the connector by using the plurality of display output lanes, second transmission means for transmitting a transmission object other than the display signal to the display connected with the connector, by using some display output lanes out of the plurality of display output lanes, identification means for identifying the type of the display connected with the connector, and switching means performing the transmission using some display output lanes by switching to the first transmission means or the second transmission means depending on the identification results of the identification means. |
