摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus detection device which can detect a focus state of an optical system satisfactorily. <P>SOLUTION: A focus detection device comprises: an imaging part 22 comprising an imaging pixel to output a picture signal corresponding to an image by an optical system and a pair of focus detection pixel lines to receive a pair of luminous flux; a phase difference detection part 21 to calculate a correlative amount between a first data row and a second data row output by the pair of focus detection pixel lines while making the first data row and the second data row relatively shift one-dimensionally and to detect the focus state of the optical system by detecting a shift amount that a local extremum of the correlative amount is obtained; a diaphragm 34 to confine incident luminous flux to the imaging part; and a control part 21 to determine a shift computing range in which the first data row and the second data row are relatively shifted as a first shift computing range in detecting a shift amount that the local extremum of the correlative amount is obtained based on an aperture value of the diaphragm, and to make the phase difference detection part perform the operation of the correlative amount in the first shift computing range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
