PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension control system capable of suppressing fluctuation in tension of a material to be rolled by suppressing an adverse effect of a dynamically varying disturbance factor while reducing a cost and labor required to model and adjust parameters.SOLUTION: A tension control system of the present invention includes: motor control means 10 that controls a torque of a reel motor which drives a reel about which a material to be rolled is wound; a tension controller ATR that calculates a torque reference value τof the reel motor on the basis of a target value Tof a tension and a measured value Tof tension measuring means; and disturbance torque estimation means that estimates a disturbance which adversely affects tension control, as a disturbance torque which acts on the reel motor, on the basis of the torque reference value τto be given to the motor control means 10 and the measured value Tof the tension measuring means. The torque reference value τcalculated by the tension controller ATR is compensated with the disturbance torque ^τestimated by the disturbance torque estimation means, and given to the motor control means 10. |
