[Also in Division A4] In apparatus for dispensing liquefied gas from a storage or transport vessel 1, the pump 6 and integrating meter 7 are housed in the liquid space of the vessel. The vessel is double-walled at 3, 4 with insulation in the space 5, and the pump is supported vertically adjacent the bottom of the vessel by sealing and strengthening flanges 10-12 and 18-20 in the two walls with an expansion bellows 23 therebetween. The pump is preferably of the rotary centrifugal type but may be a swash plate pump, and may be driven by electric, hydraulic, petrol or diesel motors. As shown on hydraulic pump 24 with reservoir 26 is driven by a diesel engine and via a valve 28, 29 controls an hydraulic motor 15 via a belt drive 16, 17. The liquid is dispensed via pipe 8 and outlet 9. The meter may employ a rotary magnetized pin sending signals to the integrating head 14.</p> |
