According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for swiveling chairs swivels chairs from a used position to a stored position to improve space efficiency. The apparatus comprises: a frame; a first support unit mounted to be able to swivel around a first fixed pivot shaft fixated on the frame and connected to the chairs to support the chairs; a second support unit mounted to be able to swivel around a second fixed pivot shaft fixated on the frame; a connecting unit in which one end and the other end are mounted on a first variable pivot shaft mounted on the first support unit and a second variable pivot shaft mounted on the second support unit, respectively, and which connects the first support unit and the second support unit; and a contact unit which is mounted on the frame to be able to swivel, comes in contact with the connecting unit by an external force, pressurizes the connecting unit, allows the second variable pivot shaft to swivel around the second fixed pivot shaft, allows the first variable pivot shaft to swivel around the first fixed pivot shaft, thereby allowing the chairs to be swiveled from the used position to the stored position. |
