PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link arm member which includes a hollow arm part thereby reducing the weight and secures smooth operation of a ball stud, and to provide a manufacturing method of the link arm member.SOLUTION: In a stabilizer link 1, each of connection parts 1b disposed at both ends of a support bar 1a formed by a steel pipe is fixed to a stabilizer device or a suspension device. The above object is achieved by the stabilizer link 1 and a manufacturing method of the stabilizer link 1. At least one of the two connection part 1b has a ball joint structure. The connection part 1b having the ball joint structure has a housing 11 which tiltably supports a ball stud 10 fixed to the stabilizer device or the suspension device. The housing 11 is welded with a tip part 100a of the support bar 1a contacting therewith to be attached to the support bar 1a. A shaft diameter D1 of the tip part 100a of the support bar 1a is reduced to form a diameter reduction part 100. |
