<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device that can eliminate gear rattle due to backlash. <P>SOLUTION: The gear device 1 includes a shaft 2, a bearing 3 for supporting the shaft 2, and a case 4 for supporting the bearing 3. In addition, one of the shaft 2 or the case 4 has a gear 5 for rotation. The gear device 1 is also provided with a resilient member 7 disposed between the bearing 3 and the case 4.
