摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with a turbocharger that sufficiently prevents heat damage to an actuator to control the turbocharger with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: Cooling-water passages 8b, 12c are formed in a wall 14a over an area from an exhaust manifold 8 to a turbine housing 12. An actuator 20 based on an electric motor is mounted to the outer-surface side of the wall 14a, formed with the cooling-water passage 8b, on the exhaust manifold 8 side. Accordingly, it prevents the actuator 20 from being heated by heat transfer from an exhaust flow inside an exhaust passage 8a. Consequently, it eliminates the need for supplying cooling water to the actuator 20 by piping. Moreover, the actuator may only be mounted to the outer-surface side of the wall 14a. Therefore, it also simplifies the mounting configuration. In such a manner, it is possible to sufficiently prevent heat damage to the actuator 20 to drive a wastegate valve 22 with a simple configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
