<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing slack of a chain for a two-stage parking device, capable of preventing slack of a chain even if affected by strong wind when a pallet is positioned at an entering/leaving height. <P>SOLUTION: A device for preventing slack of a chain includes: a pair of spring attaching metal fittings 24 fixed at the lower end of a chain 14 at the front or rear of a pellet 12 with a predetermined interval; and a tension spring 22 which is attached to the pair of spring attaching metal fittings at both ends, respectively and applies a tension force from the shortest length to the longest length therebetween. The interval is longer than the natural length of the tension spring 22. The longest length is a length between the spring attaching fittings 24 when the chain 14 extends in a straight line by the tension force generated in the chain 14 during hoisting of the pallet 12. The shortest length is a length which is shorter than the longest length by more than an amount of slack and capable of applying a predetermined tension force to the chain 14 above the spring attaching fittings 24 at an entering/leaving height. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
