<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly evaluate reliability of pattern-matching even when target blocks are different in size. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 120 comprises: a matching processing section 172 that extracts blocks of sizes corresponding to the relative distances of an object from each of a pair of image data, performs matching, and specifies blocks which are highly correlative; a reliability evaluation section 174 that derives one or a plurality of evaluation values indicating the reliability of the specified blocks on the basis of the sizes of the blocks; and a normalization section 176 that normalizes the derived evaluation values so that the maximum value of the evaluation values becomes the maximum area ratio of the evaluation value of a reference block, and associates the values with the specified blocks.
