<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone capable of performing a target function by a simple operation while assuring a way for calling when the mobile phone receives dial key input at a standby state. <P>SOLUTION: When a dial key is operated for input, a mobile phone displays a string of numbers corresponding to the input and gets ready for calling (Fig. 6b). When the number of the dial key input operations reaches four with "3sa", "3sa", "3sa", and "3sa", the mobile phone searches a name "infrared reception (Sekigaisen-Jushin)" which is the name of a function related to a character string "se" specified by the four dial key inputs in that order, and displays "infrared reception" as an option 81 (Fig. 6c). At the same time, figures "3333" are also displayed as an option 82. When the option 81 is selected, the mobile phone performs a function of the infrared reception (Fig. 6d), and when the option 82 is selected, the mobile phone gets ready for calling at "3333" (Fig. 6e). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
