Provided are an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. In terms of the electrolyte which is used in the lithium secondary battery and comprises a lithium salt and a non-aqueous solvent, the content of a silane-based material contained in the electrolyte is 0.1-20 wt%, with respect to the total weight of the electrolyte.
