<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a conventional blower with a sound-absorbing box, workability, and maintainability such as confirmation of deterioration of sound-absorbing materials in a narrow space under a roof and above a ceiling, are poor, and a sound attenuation space of the sound-absorbing box is not enough, thereby the blower is noisy. <P>SOLUTION: In front of a body outlet 7 in the ventilation direction, a sound insulation hood panel 24 is provided which has a sound insulation plane whose area is larger than that of the body outlet 7. A space provided between the body outlet 7 and the sound insulation hood panel 24 serves as a discharged air path 26, and an opening of an end thereof serves as a hood outlet 27a. A body 5 is fixed on a floor 28 using an installation pedestal 29. The hood outlet 27a is opened toward a floor 28 side.
