PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle display device displaying a decoration optical image around an information optical image, and capable of improving the stereoscopic effect in the display of those optical images.SOLUTION: A vehicle display device includes: an information display unit 51 emitting and displaying display information as an information optical image so as to be visually recognizable from a front by receiving light source light from backward to be transmission-illuminated; a decoration forming unit 53 provided hidden in rear of the information display unit 51, and emitting and forming a decoration optical image by receiving the light source light from forward to be transmission-illuminated; and a decoration display unit 30 provided spread to outer periphery from backward of the decoration forming unit 53, and emitting and displaying a virtual image of the decoration optical image so as to be visually recognizable around the information optical image from the front by projecting the decoration optical image onto the decoration display unit 30 from the decoration forming unit 53. |
