<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article cleaning apparatus which cleans an article by immersing the article in a cleaning liquid and stirring the cleaning liquid. <P>SOLUTION: When the cleaning liquid 13 is simultaneously jetted from jetting nozzles 21 at wall surfaces 3A, 3B facing each other in a state where a cleaning basket B accommodating two or more metal components W is immersed in the cleaning liquid 13, the cleaning liquids 13 jetted from the jetting nozzles 21 facing each other collide with each other in a cleaning tank 3 to produce turbulence of the cleaning liquid 13 at a collision position X. In this state, an adjusting means 22 gradually raises jetting pressure of each jetting nozzle 21 at the wall surface 3A and gradually reduces jetting pressure of each jetting nozzle 21 at the wall surface 3B. Thereby the collision position X of the cleaning liquids 13 moves right in the cleaning tank 3 to stir the cleaning liquid 13 in the cleaning tank 3.
