<p>A lens unit that is mounted on a camera to suitably photograph a dot pattern or the like is provided. The lens unit mounted on a camera of a smart phone or the like includes a cylindrical lens holder having a lower opening portion arranged to surround a photographing opening of the camera and an upper opening portion at both ends of the lens holder, a lens arranged at a predetermined position in the cylindrical lens holder, and an ID medium loaded on the upper opening portion of the lens holder to perform authentication.
