Provided are: a composition comprising coordination complexes of zinc, pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or derivatives thereof for inhibiting prolyl hydroxylase; and uses thereof. Accordingly, coordination complexes of zinc, pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or derivatives thereof can selectively inhibit prolyl hydroxylase such as prolyl hydroxylase 3, and can effectively prevent or treat ischemic diseases, cancer, degenerative brain diseases, inflammation, or diseases with the combination thereof. |
