PURPOSE:To adjust the deviation between the arrangement direction of a pair of focusing lenses and that of photodetecting cells of a line sensor by providing a pair of image forming lenses in an auto-focus optical system so that they can be turned with the optical axis of a condenser lens as the center. CONSTITUTION:A focusing lens adjusting cylinder 25 is provided in the inside peripheral part of an auto-focus unit supporting member 23 so that it can be turned around an optical axis O of a condenser lens 12, and a pair of focusing lenses 13a and 13b are held by the image forming lens adjusting cylinder 25. An adjusting arm 26 is projected in the outside peripheral part of the image forming lens adjusting cylinder 25 as one body and is projected out of the supporting member 23, and the adjusting arm 26 is pushed and turned to turn the adjusting cylinder 25, thereby adjusting a pair of image forming lenses 13a and 13b so that an arrangement direction X' of them coincides with an arrangement direction X of photodetecting cells 14a and 14b of a line sensor 15. Thus, the adjustment is performed very easily with a high precision. |
