The present invention relates to a washing machine. More specifically, the present invention comprises: a casing forming appearance; a support rod of which one end is connected with the casing; and a suspension connecting the other end of the support rod to an outer tub to enable the outer tub to be suspended inside the casing and buffering vibration of the outer tub. The suspension comprises: an air cap, where the other end of the support rod penetrates, mounted on an outer circumference of the outer tub to be moved along the support rod during vibration of the outer tub; a first friction member disposed inside the air cap while being inserted into the support rod and coming in contact with an inner side surface of the air cap; and a second friction member disposed to come in contact with the support rod and applying a larger frictional force than the frictional force applied between the first friction member and the inner side surface of the air cap between the second friction member and the support rod. Therefore, according to the present invention, the washing machine can effectively reduce vibration. |
