The present invention relates to a method and device for displaying pathological changes of an inspection object based on 3D data records. The method and device can be used to analyze the pathological changes of anatomical areas of the inspection target. The method includes 3D data segmentation of the anatomical areas, standardization thereof, comparison with a reference model (31), and intensity value allocation based on a deviation value (32) and the intensity scale of the anatomical areas. The intensity value of the standardized schematic representation of the anatomical areas enables a person skilled in the art to quickly and cost-effectively check the pathological changes in the anatomical areas.
