The present invention relates to a new method for manufacturing a dental metal frame capable of: enhancing the strength; reducing the weight; embodying a white color; having no constraints on the size or shape of a raw material; being easy to adjust the thickness of a coating layer; and enabling rapid and simple work, by forming the dental metal frame using a non-precious metal alloy. To accomplish the above, the present invention provides the method for manufacturing the dental metal frame, which comprises the following steps: forming a raw material for forming the shape of the dental metal frame by processing a non-precious metal alloy; treating a surface for making the surface of the dental metal frame have the same intensity as the preset illuminance by treating the surface of the dental metal frame by sand blasting; removing foreign substances remaining on the surface of the treated dental metal frame by ultrasonic cleaning; preheating the cleaned dental metal frame; coating the surface of the dental metal frame by melting at least one powder of powders consisting of titanium oxide (TiO_2) or zirconium oxide (ZrO_2) using a high temperature heat source, and then spraying the melted powder onto the surface of the preheated dental metal frame; and naturally cooling the coated dental metal frame at room temperature.
