PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which is excellent in bleeding and beading on various kinds of recording media, especially water-nonabsorbing or low-absorbing recording media such as synthetic paper or print book paper, and is also excellent in water resistance or oil resistance.SOLUTION: The ink composition includes 7-10C alkanediol and ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. The ink composition further contains a hydroxy carboxylic acid ester represented by formula (I): HO-CxH2x-COO-CyH2y+1 and having 6 or less carbons (in the formula, x is a natural number of 2 or 3, y is a natural number of 1-3, and x+y≤5). |
